Poster Format

To promote the participation of undergraduate students, PECI 2023 will include an event for student poster demonstration. Submissions that do not meet the format requirements below will not be eligible for review and will therefore not be considered for inclusion in the conference, so please follow the directions carefully. Posters do not require associated full papers and will not be included in IEEE Xplore.

Poster Abstract Submission Guidelines

Following a title, write a 1-page up to 250-word abstract summarizing your research effort. Pictures/tables are optional but should still fit in the 1-page limit. Be sure to provide enough information for the reviewers to understand the topic and to envision what will be presented in the poster. Please email your abstract, attached in WORD or PDF format, to the publications committee. In the email, please also include the author's full name, affiliation, and job title/student year.

Final Poster Template

PECI 2023 will not enforce any specific poster template, however poster dimensions should be 24"x36" and we do provide the PECI logo in different formats in case you wish to include that in your poster. In addition, we ask presenters to watch a quick video with guidelines on how to prepare an appealing poster. During the presentation day, poster boards (24"x36"), thumb tacks and easels will be provided.

Students from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are expected to use this banner in the bottom of their poster and the PECI logo on the top left corner of their poster. The banner may be scaled down to fit the poster.
